Sorry, got sucked back into Harry Potter for a minute (just finished book 4 and all I can say is whoa). Plus, things are ramping up for Kinder. Is anyone else freaking out or is it just me?

Wanted to post a quick (almost) Wordless Wednesday post and share a couple more photos from our Utah trip. More on the fun emojoi craft we made on my Tampico Photo Blog.

A couple weeks ago we had a “snow day” and school was canceled here the right before expected freezing temperatures would be rolling in. I think it ended up being in the 50s the next day.

Anyway, we made the most of it. It’s rare I capture a cute picture with the both of them together. They were having so much fun when I got this adorable moment.

Read the details and see more of this cuteness over on my new Tampico is Color photo blog.

A beautiful and colorful lifestyle blog featuring an interracial family with stunning biracial children. Inspiring parents to document life's little moments and make beautiful memories with their beautiful babies.

Thank you all so much for the encouraging and sweet comments on my last post! Here’s a couple sneak peeks the photographer’s shared of my hair… I mean, pictures of me with my kids.

While in Utah, we took extended family photos with Jordan Huntington, and we each got some shots with our individual families, then the next morning I did a candid shoot with Rebecca Loren.

I absolutely love everything I’ve seen so far. I have over 200 proofs with Rebecca that I’m desperately trying to narrow down to my 25 favorites, and I only have this one tiny tease of our photos with Jordan. I’m completely stoked that we’ll have our photos done well before Christmas though, including even our tiniest new family member.

Our flight back from Utah was pretty painless, and I’ll do it all again next week when I fly to Atlanta for Blogalicious. More on that later! I’m currently up to my elbows with freelance work, but I’m seeing an end in sight! Looking forward to scraping the non-necessary, non-fun duties off my plate, and focusing on the things I love. Which includes, at the top of my list, these two.

me and my kiddos

This is what I call him about 300 times a day. I’m finishing compiling his fourth month of 365s but here’s one of my favorite shots from July.

It’s a selfie. I’m a mess but my son is adorable as usual.

I had no idea I’d love my little boy this much.

I’ll post the rest this week. Just keeping ya on your toes.

Our first photo all together since the hospital.

She loves him

Disney Princess Pajama Dress: Disney Store (from Daddy!)

She says: “She is the daughter I always dreamed of. One I can watch Disney movies with, and who loves dresses and bows. And while we listened to Pandora, she was able to name off which Disney movies the songs were from in seconds. She’s such a little princess!”

He says: “Yea. So your brainwashing is working?”

Totally not brainwashing, she just has good taste.

What say you?
