When I first introduced Jayda to The Lightning Thief when she was in the first grade, I never realized it would mean as much to her as it does now. We're talking major core memory status. (AD) She's listened to the series about a dozen times and now, the mega-best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan is available in paperback with beautiful new cover art by award-winning illustrator Victo Ngai. If you haven't read the books yet, we'll forgive you. But now is a great time to add it to your family's summer reading list.

@RickRiordan books are clever, diverse, and quite the page-turners.

Ok, I’m going to try something different. Normally when I do an introduction I present myself as a mom of 3 and mention my whole family. This time I’d like to show you my other hat and say hello as a business woman in honor of Small Business Week.   I’m Jennifer Borget, and the creator of Cherish 365, a blog that shares ways my family, and others can cherish every day. Last year I launched the @MovieNightJournal which helps facilitate family connection around movies. It has been such a blessing to stretch in this new way. Reaching families beyond my own community as it’s grown a life of its own this past year has been unbelievable.   Some things I’ve learned as a small business owner: The sooner you get help, the better, but it needs to be the RIGHT help. Delegate the things that aren’t your strengths or that you don’t like and go wild with the things you do.   Looking forward to: Introducing new products later this year 👀 dreaming BIGGER and helping more families create memories that’ll last a lifetime!

Do-nut waste food! At home my kids know we don't waste food. We'll share our produce with the critters in the backyard and try to finish each other's plates. Last weekend they were more than happy to help save some donuts as well. Too Good To Go is an app helping connect people with their local bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores to save food and in turn, reduce greenhouse gas emissions connected to food waste. "Things should be slowing down soon" ⬅️ A line I've been telling myself and others for the last 10 years. Newsflash! Things probably aren't going to be slowing down any time soon. We are in a busy season of our lives and that's ok. Something I'm learning though is the importance of getting help and delegating where I can. I may never be able to afford a private chef (a girl can dream) but I can afford @Shipt, a same-day delivery service for our groceries. It works awesome while we're coming home from practices. I can place an order while I'm waiting on my kids and have it delivered in as little as an hour. I have even started adding in some of the fresh prepped meals from the deli so even though it's not prepared by a fancy chef in my home, it's still a delicious dinner I don't have to make! I'm gonna go ahead and call that a life hack 💁🏾‍♀️.
