How we met: A Windows Phone #Giveaway #MeetYours

Long before this adorable little cutie (if I do say so myself), it was just her daddy and I. And boy do we have a story.

It’s almost Valentines Day, and I don’t know about you, but I love a good love story. My husband and I met eight and a half years ago and we’ve been married for eight of those. Nuts right?

Remember how I told you about one of my new loves, as in, my new phone? Well, here’s a condensed version of our  story, created with the How We Met App on Facebook highlighted through the lens of a Windows Phone.

Betcha didn’t know I was just a kid when I got hitched (though I felt much older looking back, I’m a little like WOAH!… Glad he’s not crazy! Anyway…) of course the adorable little girl, and babies came later and in between all of that. You can see our animated full story right here and create your own. As a matter of fact, if you do, and share your story with me in the comments you’ll be entered to win your own Windows phone. TWO actually. One for you, and one for your honey. I know you’ll love them as much as I do once you #MeetYours. You can enter using my Rafflecopter form below. It ends February 13th, good luck!

My husband and I met at a liquor store, lol. I in my car waiting for a friend and he was going in with a group of guys. He noticed me and came to my car to talk to me. At our wedding when the DJ asked people to guess where we met about 10 people screamed out library, lol.

A Love story from From the City by the Bay and the City that never Sleeps

There once was a girl named Martha, born and raised in San Francisco, she always had dreams of living in New York City.
There once was a boy named Tyson, born and raised in the Bronx, he was a natural born artist.
In 2005 Martha made her move to the big city, loving every minute of the hustle and bustle.
But it wasn’t until 2008 that these two met by chance (some call it destiny) at a restaurant on the Hudson River in Harlem.
They became friends, they spent more and more time together, they fell in love.
Wanting God’s will for their lives and believing that includes each other the two love birds joined in marriage on the Island of Barbados in July 2011.
They now await their first child this March 2013 to join them in their happy home in Harlem.

Jeena Wilder says:

We meet at EFY when we were 17… six years later I was stranded in Arizona with a dead car and my knight and shining armor Drue came to save me. We finished my road trip visiting each temple in the south and admitting our feeling for each other at the Houston Temple and having our first kiss at the Baton Rouge temple. Since then we we’ve been happily in love.
