For me, there really is no better bonding experience. Once that movie is on, the outside world and all of the worries of the day disappear, leaving only the sweet joy of quality family time. 

My kids and I are HUGE fans of all things DreamWorks. There’s just something about their unmatched ability to capture both humor and important moral lessons within an adventurous, brilliantly animated storyline that keeps us coming back again and again. Whether it’s classics like Shrek and Spirit or the more modern Abominable and Boss Baby, DreamWorks has something to appeal to every audience, so you’ll never be stuck for choice.

1. Antz (1998)

After Yocheved, a Jewish mother who fears for the safety of her newborn son surrenders him to the Nile, he is adopted by the Queen, who later names him Moses. The Prince of Egypt follows the story of Moses and his power to influence the fate of an entire kingdom. With spectacular visuals and a compelling tale, it’s no wonder this movie is a favorite for many.

This is a film about a good-natured inventor named Wallace and his super-smart dog, Gromit, who are both on a mission to save their hometown from the scourge of rabbits in time for the annual vegetable competition. The film is undoubtedly one of the best Dreamworks films, with stunning animation techniques and a truly bizarre adventure!

However, their plane runs out of fuel on the route back to the United States, forcing them to crash in Africa. When the gang arrives at a wildlife reserve, they are delighted to see other members of their species. But little do they know they are about to embark on another dangerous and fascinating adventure!
