DIY Toddler Pajama Dress: What I’m Makin Monday

I finally got out of my sewing rut and threw together my first pillowcase dress/ pajama dress for Lil’ J.

She was SO excited to have a new dress for bed time. The fabric is knit and so comfy too. She picked it out at the store. She loves the “pink elephants.”

I adapted the pattern from this tutorial. I think the way I did it is a bit easier, and it’s toddler size measurements, so that could he helpful to some. I’ll share as soon as I get around to posting instructions. For now, here’s a sneak peek.

  1. Makes me wish I had a little girl too. You can never find cute clothes for little boys. It’s super sad I tell ya. My pretty much step-daughters are 9 and is a total tom boy and the other lives 3 hours away and she would be the one I would dress up.

  2. Great job. Im very jealous of your skills. I dont know how you do it all so well but keep it up! Doing great and little miss is gorgeous as ever.

  3. I LOVE this! Can’t wait for the instructions! My daughter HATES footie pajamas, but she’s so tiny that I can’t find “big girl” pajamas in her size that aren’t almost $30 a pair! This would be perfect. 🙂

  4. I love your sense of style! I can’t wait to make one of this for my daughters. I think I would also make an adult version of this, something for myself. I bet this will aslo looks good on me.
