Thought I’d lost myself there for a minute.

Left her somewhere between cheer practices, homeschooling and taxi driving. I hated every minute of running (except the race, that was fun) but it was something I did for the sake of my personal development and crossing a runDisney race off my bucket list. It’s easy for me to tell my kids they can do hard things. It’s ok to make mistakes, and not be good at things. But how quick am I to not try something because “I never learned” or because I suck at it.

Let 2023 be the year of trying something you’ve always wanted to try and doing things you love 💕

Lee Lee didn’t want to get up close and personal with the princesses 😅. The nice thing is they were so good about giving her her space. I was in a bit of a pickle when *I* wanted photos but she didn’t, so later that night Jayda and I went and did pictures together while Lee Lee played in the kids club (and ironically she told me Tiana came in to tell them a story and she said hi to her there).

We also tried our luck with various rounds of trivia but never came out on top. Ty did though in an activity in the kids club and he was so proud of his award!

I also learned how to order free breakfast room service a little too late but I’m sharing the tip with y’all so you can enjoy it on your trips! I booked a placeholder so we will be going again sometime in the next couple of years and I’ll make sure to do it then too 😜

They know how to make a lady feel good 😜.

As I suspected each kid appreciated the vacation for different reasons. We have an energetic preschooler who loves to party. An elementary aged Marvel lover who wears his heart on his sleeves. And a sweet and confident tween who asked me why the characters are getting shorter when in fact she’s just getting taller 🥹

There was something for everyone, even Brian who managed to find the laundry room and enjoy himself so much that he’s *gasp* already talking about “next time.”

Disney Cruise DAY 4 I didn’t think this trip wo

Disney Cruise DAY 4

I didn’t think this trip would top our Disney cruise from Texas on the Wonder but I was wrong. Our cruise ship docked in Cozumel, Mexico and we went out for a fun beach day. It’s my 5th Disney cruise but the first time I’ve gotten off at an island other than Castaway Cay. Playa Mia Grand Beach Park had the best of both worlds with a beach and pools in one spot. All of the food and drinks were included.

Back on the boat we dropped off the kids back in the kids club and Brian and I had a breather before Pirate Night 🏴‍☠️. I’m telling you, as a homeschooling family that’s always around each other it was nice enjoying some alone time on this cruise 😆

Jayda and I toured Vibe, the teen club before going up to watch the Pirate show and dance!

Day 3: Marvel Day at Sea.

Night 3 of 5 of our cruise on the Disney Dream. This is part 3 of my travel vlog and it’s a doozie! But I wanted to show you as much in case you’re debating adding a Marvel Day at Sea to your bucket list. This is the day Marvel fans on the cruise we’re waiting for. When the most Marvel MCU characters come together in one place on land or sea.

Watching my kids, especially Ty, light up, was everything. Jayda was non stop smiles too and Lee Lee is still consuming all the ice cream she can. Brian and I also got to go on another date today which makes 3 days in a row and is a personal record for us since having kids 😅

This one is twice as long as my first two videos but the good thing is this video can be paused, rewound, scrolled through and saved so you can come back and reference later 😆
