Daily baby photo documentation: 365 Days of Big T Month 1
365 Days of Big T: Month 1
As I finished my 365 love letters project for my daughter, I worried I'd never be able to do the same sort of baby photo documentation for another child, but I'm determined. I didn't want to do the exact same thing, starting at the beginning of a year, but I did want to do a years worth of photos. What better than to start on the day he was born?
Text and editing in Photoshop was a pain, so this time around I wanted to make it so I'd need as little editing as possible. Sure, I may want to spruce a photo up from time to time, but I'm trying to get them right straight out of the camera, with numbers in the background, so I don't need to run them all through my editing system.
So along with my 30 things my kids should know about me project I've been working on another baby this month. I find random things nearby when I'm setting up the photo to make the numbers. It's been a fun little maternity leave project so far, and hopefully by the time I get back to work it'll be routine. Some are more creative than others and some are just plain boring. I hope he likes them someday though. Click through to see the first month.

I love this idea! I wish I would have done this with my new baby but we’re already at 6 weeks now.
You can still totally do it! Make your own Day 1 and do 365!
Wow.. comparing day 1 to day 33 is amazing how alert he is! That full head of hair is gorgeous too! Keep it up momma!
Thanks! Yes, it’ much easier keeping up this 2nd month, and fun too. He’s way more alert, I can’t wait to see the comparison from 1 to 365… wait, yes I can wait. I can definitely wait!
This is a fantastic idea! Day 24 is awesome- he’s looking at it like “don’t you get any closer!”
Haha, yes that was one was “crap I almost forgot to take a picture” one, and he’s giving my techniques a look, lol.
I love this idea! My favorite is Day 23 with his jersey onesie and he’s holding the basket ball, just chillin’! Too much cuteness!!
That one is my husband’s favorite too 😉
That is AWESOME! I wouldn’t be able to stick with it for more than a week lol 🙂
After about 3 weeks it becomes habit, now I’m really getting into it! haha.
How cute! I’m sure he’ll love it when he’s older. I know that Moo enjoys seeing all the baby pictures I have of her from her first years of life. I’m hoping that JJ will feel the same too.
Yea, I know my daughter will love hers, she already loves looking at and being in pictures, I hope my boy is as enthusiastic, hehe.
Adorable! These are so, so great.
Thanks so much! 🙂
OMG, day 23 is my favorite one! Not only is it adorable, but it is also clever.
Thank you! Gotta love Jordan!
