10 Things I Aint Got Time For Since Becoming a Mom

Parenting aint’ easy. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been bored with nothing to do. I literally don’t think that’s ever happened in the last 6 years. In fact, I don’t have time for a lot of the things I used to have time for. Here are just 10:

If you’ve read my blog for any period of time you know I don’t like to cook. After all the stress of finding a recipe, figuring our what the ingredients are, and hunting for them at the grocery store I’m too exhausted to actually make it when I get home and then when I do make it I realize I forgot to buy the main ingredient. The thought of doing that week after week, day after day is… I just… No.

I’m busy, and meal planning is daunting right now but I’ve had a lot of fun trying out Blue Apron. I mean look at what I made!

Blue Apron is awesome. My fest friend uses them and makes some killer meals!

YUP…I sure remember those days. Now I watch my daughter as she runs around with our grandchildren.

Cat Davis says:

I think you pretty much covered it all. One thing I hate that I’ve had to give up is the date nights. There’s just never enough time or money these days.

We use Blue Apron too. It is very convenient for those crazy nights

Pamela K says:

I need to try Blue Apron. I just don’t like cooking for just two so their portion size would help.

Laura Funk says:

This is me to a T. Seriously, I somehow make time but man does it get frustrating sometimes! Love that dinner is an easy go to with Blue Apron

Cathy says:

We tried Blue Apron for a short time, but then couldn’t justify the cost. Seriously considering going back, though, because even though I could make the time to meal plan I don’t really want to. 😉

Kimberly Dickerson says:

Cooking and cleaning!! Ain’t nobody got time for all that. 😉 I’m going to check out Blue Apron. Thanks!

Milena says:

I love Blue Apron. The directions are so easy to follow that my 12 year-old can make most of the meals by himself. It’s perfect!

Rosey says:

I like this service. Takes the pain out of making a recipe, like you said!

From Mrs. to Mom says:

We love Blue Apron. It helps with meal planning and is pretty easy to make which we’ll take all the help we can get!

I tried Blue Apron for a while some time ago. Their recipes are definitely unique. As far as things I don’t have time for? Well, my kids are both grown, but when they were small I had my hands completely full. I’m not even sure I had time to brush my teeth most days. LOL

I just had baby 6 recently so time is precious. Definitely sounds like something I could use!

I try to meal plan often, but sometimes you just don’t have time for it! Thanks for the review and a walk down the Mom lane!!

ahhh man I feel your pain – I hate cooking. I always said if I could afford someone to cook all of my heallthy meals I would. lol

Rose Siders says:

I am not a parent and I still don’t have time for anything lol. Meal planning and cooking are two things I hate. I don’t particularly love cooking unless I am in the mood for it, which is rare. The daily cooking is drudgery to me and I’d rather be doing something else!

LIz Mays says:

I have totally loved trying Blue Apron. It helps me be creative without having to think it all up!
