30 Things my kids should know about me Day 4: List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self.

I wasn’t 16 in either of these photos but it was the best I could find on Facebook.

 10. In a couple of years you’re going to college. Enjoy it.
9. I know you want to be a newscaster but perhaps you should seriously consider engineering.
8. Keep in touch with your closest friends and continue to build lasting relationships with people you trust.
7.  High school boyfriends are overrated.
6. Stay focused, avoid distractions.
5. You’re going to love being a mother even more than you can imagine.
4. Don’t buy a house before 2008.
3. Buy Apple stock.
2. Take cooking lessons asap, you’ll regret it if you don’t.
1. Don’t worry, everything is going to be ok.

What would you tell your 16-year-old self?

Big thanks to Erica again for the fun graphics for these prompts. Find the entire list of prompts and download link here.

Cute pictures! Hmm, I married my high school boyfriend so #7 is really funny! As an engineer number #9 is ironic because I always wish I had taken the chance on something artsy…but then I remember I have no talent!

I would tell my 16 year old self to stop worrying about being “too skinny” and trying to gain weight (yeah, you read that right!) because when you turn 30 and have a baby metabolism will kick in and you will regret it!

Oh also, don’t teach yourself how to apply makeup…take a class or ask for help!

Excellent conquer! I’m going to trainee when you change your web site, the best way could possibly my spouse and i register for any web site site? The particular consideration taught me to be a pertinent deal. I have been previously touch recognizable with this a person’s send out supplied shiny see-through concept
